The Political Institute of Action Research

The Political Institute accepts new members all year round.

The Political Institute recruits new researchers for our research teams at the beginning of each semester. Our researchers have the chance to publish work and advocate for change, while developing their professional skillset. As part of our research programme, our researchers are enrolled in specialised workshops. These workshops are designed to complement the research and writing process, as well as introduce members to the world of think tanks.

As part of the general membership scheme, all members gain access to guest speaker events, socials, and networking opportunities.

As part of our affiliation with the St Andrews Students’ Association, members must be current students at the University of St Andrews.
